You may place minimum and maximum alarm thresholds on any physical or virtual point. This can be accomplished either within the point application or on the alarm page, and to remove alarming, just set both the minimum and maximum alarm values to blank.
A point in alarm may be acknowledged by clicking the icon under the status column, and timestamped memos could be entered communicate to others the status of the alarm.
You may subscribe to an alarm to receive automated email alerts when the point goes into alarm, and the email will provide a link to acknowledge the alarm as well as a link to a dynamic graph showing the points values. See the settings section for instructions how to also receive notifications upon a point leaving an alarmed state as well as the duration of time to resending emails for unacknowledged alarms, and see the user section for how to auto-subscribe to all alarms.
You may also see a given point's lifetime alarm history by clicking the icon under the History column. All alarms will show the time and value of the point when it went into alarms, and all alarms which eventually went out of the alarmed state will show the values at that time.
